Mima Tarım, which started its operations in Istanbul in 1994, supplied raw pistachios and roasted pistachios to chocolate companies in its early years.
Mima Tarım founder Mehmet İman, who noticed the problems in the production stages of pistachios and the industrialization process, contributed to the development of the sector by sharing the pistachio cracking machine he designed and developed with the leading snack companies in the market.
In order to protect the producers of the region and to provide employment in the region, Mima Tarım established a facility with a closed area of 25,000 m2 in Nizip Organized Industrial Zone in 2010, in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 quality systems. In this process, it has expanded its capacity and developed safe food production by following world nut standards. It has received the globally accepted FSSC 22000, Kosher and TS OIC SMIIC 1:2019 Halal Certificates.
Mima Agriculture; Mima Tarım, which met customer specifications, gained their satisfaction by delivering Pistachios in vacuum bags to the customers and subsequently made the necessary investments to start production of all snack types at the end of 2015 and launched its packaged products to reach the end consumer towards the end of 2023. Dried nuts, which reach consumers under the Sancez brand, have completed all production stages untouched and have started to take their place on the shelves.
